Optical windows are flat, plane-parallel plates that are often used as protective barriers for electronic sensors or detectors from outside environments. Optical Windows should be selected based on the material transmission or mechanical properties of the substrate. Optical windows do not cause change in the magnification of a system. Tiancheng optical windows are offered in a variety of optical windows, such as optical round window, ZnSe round window, CaF2 round window and so on. We fabricate optical windows for a wide range of applications. For the manufacturing of this kind of optics we only process very pure optical glasses or specialty flat glasses because the material quality has to be taken into account in order to keep distortions low and to ensure a good optical imaging performance of each window.
